UNIT4 Customers Immersed in Revolutionary Direction for ERP – Agresso Business World Route 66

PHOENIX, Arizona (October 05, 2011) –

UNIT4 Business Software (http://www.unit4software.com), the North American subsidiary of UNIT4, the world’s leading provider of business software for Businesses Living IN Change (BLINC™), is kicking off its eighth annual user conference today at the historic Arizona Biltmore in Phoenix, AZ. As a three-day conference, Agresso Connects 2011 is the largest training event for North American Agresso Business World (Agresso) users, transferring knowledge and expertise through more than 50 breakout sessions, including customer case studies and hands-on training from industry experts. This conference will help attendees leverage the full capabilities and features of Agresso’s integrated suite of modules including Financial Management, Human Resources & Payroll, Planning, Budgeting & Forecasting, Procurement Management, Project Costing & Billing, Reporting & Analytics, Business Process Automation, and Field Service Management & Asset Maintenance.

The 2011 conference will feature UNIT4’s next generation of enterprise resource planning (ERP) software that was launched earlier this year. Akin to a build-your-own-adventure, Agresso Business World Route 66 lets users decide when and how much of their enterprise systems to upgrade as their organizations’ needs change. This marks an end to all-or-nothing version upgrades typical of the industry and delivers independence and agility to customers, letting them decide which direction to take their ERP journey. In addition to this new direction in ERP, the conference will also launch UNIT4’s new performance management suite that’s been designed from the ground up to allow Businesses Living IN Change (BLINC) to manage any type of performance in response to their changing priorities as a consequence of business change.

Agresso Connects is the largest UNIT4 North American training and networking event of the year, helping novice users and seasoned pros alike get the most out of their ERP investment. Because Agresso provides business users with an unrivalled ability to make changes to their own system, Agresso Connects is the primary venue for UNIT4 customers to learn new and innovative uses of Agresso, as well as learn about future product innovations from Ton Dobbe, VP of Product Marketing and UNIT4’s strategic direction from COO Ab van Marion.

“The need for both public and private sector organizations to adapt to change quickly and easily has never been more evident than in the economic climate of the past couple years. That’s why this year’s conference theme is “Embracing Change” – we’re celebrating the resilience of our customers,” says Shelley Zapp, president of UNIT4 Business Software. To set the tone for the event, Ian Percy, who has worked with some of the world’s most effective financial and software companies, will deliver a keynote address on the need to rethink how we perceive change, in essence to “transform or become irrelevant.”
