Over 200 new customers purchased GCS Premier in 2008, a Company record

Herndon, VA (March 10, 2009) –

Deltek, Inc. (NASDAQ: PROJ), the leading provider of enterprise applications software for project-focused businesses, today announced that GCS Premier had a banner year in 2008, with the project accounting solution gaining over 200 new customers during that time. These new customers purchased GCS Premier because it is the only solution in the marketplace that was specifically designed from the ground up to meet the compliance needs of small and mid-sized businesses who sell services to the U.S. government. During 2008, Deltek also announced the general availability of GCS Premier 5.0. The innovative new release delivers unparalleled enhancements to GCS Premier including a new user interface and Premier Billing capabilities.

Deltek GCS Premier is a powerful, easy-to-use solution that manages corporate finances and project accounting, while also dramatically reducing operating costs and expensive risks. Because it enables compliance with DCAA and other government requirements for cost accounting systems, GCS Premier can meet the financial management and audit needs of even the most demanding government contractor. Contractors that use GCS Premier typically experience increased financial control, reduced project costs, increased productivity at a lower cost, and tighter compliance with DCAA regulations.

“GCS Premier has been at the core of our success as a company,” said Dr. Michael Santens, CFO for Integrity Applications Incorporated (IAI). “After we purchased GCS Premier several years ago, we were able to win additional business from the government while also increasing our ability to comply with all government accounting rules and regulations. We recently upgraded to GCS Premier 5.0, and the positive benefits we experienced from moving to the new solution have been significant. We believe, without reservation, that Deltek’s solutions for government contractors are unmatched in the marketplace.”

“Government contractors need project-based solutions that are purpose-built for their specific industry,” said Michael Fauscette, GVP of Software Business Solutions for IDC. “With GCS Premier, Deltek offers functionality that is targeted specifically to the needs of small and medium-sized government contractors. GCS Premier 5.0 was a landmark release for Deltek, and we think its release further demonstrates Deltek’s leadership in the government contracting marketplace.”

Deltek has over 1,600 GCS Premier customers including the companies that purchased the solution in 2008. Among the new GCS Premier customers that Deltek added in the last year were some of the most successful and fastest growing government contractors in the nation. The list of marquee GCS Premier contractors added in 2008 includes TCAssociates, Inc., Tidewater, Inc., Obor Digital, and 6K Systems, Inc.

“Strong sales of GCS Premier was among our most notable accomplishments in 2008 as an organization,” said Kevin Parker, President and CEO of Deltek. “We continue to hear from our small and mid-sized government contracting customers that GCS Premier is the only solution that can fully meet their accounting and compliance needs. With government spending continuing to be strong into the future, we believe GCS Premier is well-positioned for another successful year in 2009.”
