Sage North America has introduced their Sage Simply Accounting Pro 2011 software. It is now available for nonprofit organizations and public libraries through TechSoup Global.

TechSoup Global brings technological empowerment and philanthropy to social benefit organizations and their donation service gives qualifying charities access to donated and discounted technology products.

The bilingual English-Spanish version of Sage Simply Accounting Pro is available to U.S. organizations, while the bilingual English-French version is available to Canadian organizations.

Jamie Sutherland, V.P. and General Manager for Sage Simply Accounting, says their program was designed for the non-accountant. This platform is ideal for nonprofit organizations where team members often handle multiple responsibilities and may not have accounting-related experience.

Sutherland says the easy-to-learn approach they’ve taken allows nonprofits to get the accuracy, control and information they need so they can focus more time on executing their fundraising strategies and running their operations efficiently.

In Canada, the fully bilingual English-French Sage Simply Accounting is the most recommended small business software and it is the only accounting software in the U.S. market that is available in both Spanish and English. This allows nonprofits using the solution to toggle and create reports between two languages in real time.

Chief Business Development Officer for TechSoup Global, Gayle Carpentier, says that adding English-Spanish Sage Simply Accounting to their portfolio provides an easy to use accounting option for nonprofit organizations.

Organizations that receive products from TechSoup’s donation service pay a small administrative fee to cover operational costs, verification and reporting of their eligibility, and the fostering of content and community to support the use of these tech products.
